Phase I
EarthStar Tai Chi was born in 1995 when Dale was teaching Tai Chi classes at local businesses & colleges ... In 1999 Jeanne came out of retirement (Middle School English/French Teacher), & Dale resigned as a Detective with the Greensboro Police Department to teach Tai Chi full time ... They opened a metaphysical retail store & Tai Chi/Qi Gong studio (EarthStar Tai Chi) in Greensboro, NC, on March 1, 1999.
Phase II
Three years later ... in 2002, EarthStar Spiritual Center was created as an Interfaith Church/non-profit corporation; & Dale & Jeanne were ordained as the Abbots/Interfaith Ministers ... Weekly meditation services were held as various topics were explored within the framework of eight altars: Mother Earth, Energy Healing, Taoism, Goddess/Divine Feminine, Native American, Christianity, Buddhism & Celtic ... In 2003, Dale & Jeanne received their D.Div. from Esoteric Theological Seminary -- Dale in Huna Hawaiian Shamanism/Energy Healing & Jeanne in Divine Feminine/Goddess Studies.
Tai Chi/Qi Gong, Women's Self-Defense, Goddess Fairs & Teas, Energy Healing, Drumming Circles, & a host of other holistic events & workshops allowed the fellowship several options for spiritual education ... The Energy Healing Ministry (Crystals/Stones, Huna, Sound, Reiki & Reflexology) provided classes, graduating many practitioners & Masters/Teachers.
The Minister Ordination Ministry successfully ordained many Interfaith Ministers ... The Ministry now includes a Distant Ordination option for those who are unable to travel locally ... As of the Summer of 2024, we have 114 Ministers serving across the USA; & 10 churches have been created & influenced.
Phase III
In 2005, Dale & Jeanne moved the administrative portion of EarthStar Spiritual Center to their home in Greensboro, NC (elderly parent care) ... They traveled locally, teaching various workshops in metaphysical/spiritual philosophies ... Dale continued teaching Tai Chi classes in the Piedmont Triad area.
EarthStar was an approved provider with NCBTMB from 2006-2014 for Continuing Education for massage therapists ... Over 30 courses were offered for CE credit with Dale/Jeanne & other EarthStar Certified & NCBTMB Approved Instructors - over 2700 hours of CE credit was provided to massage therapists.
Phase IV
Dale & Jeanne continue to work from home/EarthStar on their teachings as they focus on expanding EarthStar's mission locally, nationally & worldwide through an online presence ... The Shamanic Mystery School started in August 2008 & has grown to more expansive Mystery Schools each year ... Private & group lessons continue in Business, Energy Healing, Meditation, Personal Development, Shamanism & Tai Chi/Qi Gong ... Dale completed his first novel in 2013,
Diamond in the Rough-Reiki Under Fire.
We continue offering in-person/online classes with Shamanism, Aloha Consciousness & Synergy Healing ... Our writing continues with books on Modern Shamanism, culminating in one book per year during 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 ... EarthStar Publishing was created as a ministry in 2023 to help authors publish their works with Amazon/KDP Publishing ... In 2024, we have expanded our online presence with weekly YouTube "Live" shows with Simply Shaman topics & Shamanic Life Coaching/Synergy Healing perspectives.
